I bought this because I'm in my mature years and sweeping and vacuuming are getting to be quite a chore. I bought a Rumba several years ago, and it worked, but didn't last very long. I decided to give this a try and have not been sorry. I love that it easily moves from bare floor to carpet and back. It also has a very large dust bin which was missing in the Rooma that I used to have. I love the fact that it has a remote control too! Once its done with its chores, it travels right back to the docking station for a re-charge. I also have a Mint that I use to mop my Pergo floors. I love that one too!
